When you hear the name you the first thing which comes to mind is a Cheap Chinese phone, don’t be fooled by this, the specs speaks for itself. I will not get into details of the specs, which is already on this page. Let me highlight things which are not here, Booked the phone yesterday, today morning received the phone the minute I stepped into the office. Pretty happy with the fast delivery. The packing is immaculate as always from Flipkart. The outer box of MI3 is sandstone color. Top of the box has just the name “MI3” on the top right hand corner, behind the box there is a small sticker at the bottom with specs, address, price etc. Other than this the box looks extremely plain and simple made of re-cycled paper. When you open the box first thing visible is the phone, Looks big at the first sight, the color option says Metallic Grey, but the phone back side is metallic silver. Either Xiaomi got the name wrong or Silver is called Grey nowadays. Below the phone, there is 2 amps USB charger, USB data cable, Manual with iPhone type ejection tool. Surprisingly there is no earphones and phone case. The Phone takes regular sim card, not micro or nano. Other than this there is no other item in the box. No card slot or removable battery, the phone is one single unit with option to insert the sim card. Feels and looks solid, Good build quality but does not feel premium, Moto G feels premium for the price, but again what you pay is what you get. The screen is full HD retina display. Looks rich, crip and sharp. Just started fiddling with the phone, the UI looks good similar to iPhone, Will Post more shortly.
